Who Can Participate in WIC?
Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, non-breastfeeding women, and children under 5. WIC is for all kinds of families: married and single parents, working or not working. If you currently receive TAFDC, Food Stamps or Mass Health (Medicaid) you are automatically eligible for WIC. (Mass Health members with Family Assistance and Common Health coverage are NOT automatically income eligible.)
