Volunteer Needs

Volunteers are gems to nonprofit organizations. Most pantries and meal sites could not function without them. Use the drop down box to select your town of interest to find organizations in that area. Below the map is a table listing your search results, or click on the markers on the map to view information about that organization. Please contact the organization directly about how you could help out. Thanks!

  • Families, including young children, can volunteer for just a few hours once a year or on a monthly basis. Either way, children experience hands-on tzedakah and truly come to understand that they can make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate.
  • Volunteers are needed on a monthly basis on "distribution days" to help set up the pantry, sort and package food donations, and then deliver to recipients. This monthly distribution can be a 1-3 hour commitment.
  • Children are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by an adult. To volunteer, please contact Tamar Moskowitz, Volunteer and Food Coordinator, 781-693-5593.
